What is The HoDown?

We are a premier adult event space hosting two distinct types of parties: All-Male events for men seeking men, and CoEd events open to everyone, regardless of gender or sexual identity.

What happens at the party?

What is the turnout like?

Our capacity is 45, and every single night brings a fresh, diverse mix of regulars and new faces. You are the turnout—bring the energy you want to see, and come ready to mingle.

Can I just watch?

Participation is highly encouraged. A room full of spectators isn't a party! Come ready to connect and play. If you just want to watch, this might not be the event for you.

What should I bring?

Bring your sex drive, an open mind, and any personal essentials you prefer (like poppers, which we allow but do not supply). We provide all the basic amenities.

Is this a discreet/DL party?

We heavily protect the privacy of every guest. Because we welcome a diverse crowd, you may even see attendees wearing masks to protect their identity. Discretion is a core part of the culture here.

Location & Travel

Where is The HoDown located?

We are proudly hosted in Elizabeth, NJ. While you might see HoDown-sponsored events elsewhere, our name is a Jersey household staple!

How do I get there by public transit?

We are a 7–10 minute walk from the North Elizabeth train station and a 15–20 minute walk from the Elizabeth station (NJ Transit North Jersey Coast and Northeast Corridor lines). Local NJ Transit buses (59, 24, 112, 113) also drop off just blocks away.

Is there parking?

The Elizabeth location does not have designated parking. While some guests use nearby commercial lots (Forman Mills, Advance Auto, Walgreens), please be aware these are private property. We are not responsible for towing or vehicle safety, so please park smart and be mindful of your surroundings.

Pricing & Payments

How much does it cost?

Pricing varies by event. Please check the PRICE section of our website for the most current details. Everyone pays, every time—no special deals or coupons. This ensures a fair, high-quality experience for all guests (only staff and promoters enter for free).

How do I pay for food and drinks?

Everything at the bar and kitchen is $5. The best option is to purchase food and drink tickets at check-in. Alternatively, use tap-to-pay on your smartwatch, or keep a card/cash tucked securely in your sock (long socks are highly recommended!).

What is your refund policy?

We securely process advance card payments through Square. Refunds are only issued—no questions asked—if an event is canceled by us. These are processed automatically back to your card within 1 to 3 business days. Otherwise, all sales are final.

The Rules

Why is there a strict dress code?

Our dress codes set the vibe and remove barriers to interaction. By attending, you agree to the specific dress code outlined in your event invitation.

Can I have my cell phone or smartwatch light on?

Absolutely not. Phones and watch lights disrupt the atmosphere and violate guest privacy. We are a strictly no-recording, zero-camera environment. Disconnect and enjoy the moment. If you have cell phone detachment issues, this isn't the party for you.

Can I smoke or use substances?

Vaping (weed or nicotine) is welcome. However, any flame-based smoking or the use of illegal substances (pills, liquids, etc.) is strictly prohibited. We have a zero-tolerance policy—you will be removed immediately. All exits are final, so there are no smoke breaks outside.

Is this a RAW party?

The HoDown welcomes those who prefer condoms and those who don't. Always ask and respect your partner's boundaries before any play.

Amenities

What’s available at the bar and kitchen?

We offer a Top-Shelf bar with over 25 premium brands, signature cocktails, THC-infused High Shots, beer, wine, and Red Bull. We also serve fresh, made-to-order food and snacks. Everything is just $5! Please note: drinks must be kept in brighter-lit areas to prevent spills in the Dark Rooms, and be sure to hold onto your reusable, restaurant-grade cup.

Are condoms and lube provided?

Yes! We provide standard, large/XL, and non-latex condoms for our guests.

Can I take a shower there?

Showers are available by request only! They are not for use upon arrival. Please shower BEFORE you arrive so you can step through the doors ready for action.

Invitations & Attendance

How do I get an invitation?

Request an invite for your desired event directly through our website. You will need a Google/Gmail account and a Telegram account to join the list.

Why do I need to submit photos?

Photos help us ensure the crowd meets the aesthetic standard of the party (generally a fit, youthful appearance between 18–45) and help us filter out banned individuals. Your privacy matters—forms with photos are periodically purged.

Who attends these events?

We invite a universally sexy, diverse crowd from NJ, NY, DE, PA, and beyond. If you want to bring friends, they are more than welcome—just have them request their own invitation so they have all the details.

The provided contact number is only for calling when you arrive at the door. Please do not text this number; texts will not be answered.

I called from outside and no one answered. What happened?

You likely called outside of the announced arrival window, or you called from a blocked number (which we do not accept). If the website hasn't marked the party as canceled, we just missed you—call right back!
